Megan Drury is a family law attorney who represents clients in a variety of matters, including divorce litigation, paternity, third-party visitation, stepparent adoption, and appellate matters. Megan’s experience in family law includes working in a variety of counties throughout Wisconsin on family law cases that involve both custody and placement issues, as well as financial issues for substantial net worth individuals.
Megan appreciates working with and helping clients through the challenging and emotional process of a divorce. Recognizing that each case is unique, Megan takes the time to work with clients to determine a legal strategy tailored to the circumstances of each case. Megan prioritizes keeping her clients informed and feeling empowered to make decisions throughout these difficult times.
Prior to attending law school, Megan received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Marquette University in Psychology. Megan’s background in mental health makes her uniquely positioned to assist individuals through high-conflict divorces.
Megan was named a Super Lawyer’s “Rising Star” and has been selected to provide CLE courses to her peers and input to such publications as U.S. News on various family topics. Megan has served as a legal volunteer for Sojourner Family Peace Center in Milwaukee. Her dedication to pro bono work was recognized by the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Award.
She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Family Law Section, Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association - Board Member, Association of Women Lawyers, and the Waukesha Bar Association.
